This is a carrier bag design that i have done for an Equestrian collection for Adidas (my current project) over the next few days i will hopefully add more of my ideas for the project including: swing tags, tees, and a shop layout/installation.
Last week was Photography Week at university and everyone got to team up with a photographer and create images for portfolios. My photographer was Christopher Callcutt and he photographed my friend Harriet at Maenporth Beach here in Cornwall in my neoprene jacket (with pockets) that I designed for the surf wear company Gul: http://www.gul.com/
The fabric I used was a really soft super stretchy neoprene that i got from a local wetsuit designer based in Newquay called Elsie Pinniger-you should check out her work she does amazing custom suits in awesome bright colours: http://www.goodneon.co.uk/
Here are a couple of illustrations of some rain coats that i designed that would be perfect for those typical soggy British days-i love bright cheery wet weather gear and i think these would make excellent festival wear! The prints are from photographs taken on a visit to the Eden Project here in Cornwall. I love experimenting with images and making prints with them and the Eden Project is the perfect place to go for inspiration!
This year sees the first graduate fashion show at Falmouth University and with only a few weeks to go (1st of June) everyone is working super hard to get everything finished!
To give a sense of who i am as a designer and my style I am going to start with some illustrations that I have done-these particular illustrations are a selection of jackets (wax cotton and photographic prints) that i did for my 'Land Project'.
Hi, I am a performance sportswear design student based in Falmouth Cornwall. My particular area of interest in design is jackets and as the title suggests i am partially to a princess seam (or two). Within my work i like to experiment with unique fabrics and like my designs to be feminine, aesthetically pleasing, and also functional with technical features.
